Dr. Alexander Ziegler, aka Dr. A, grew up off of the shores of Lake Erie and attended the University of Michigan, where he earned a double major in Biochemistry and French. During his undergraduate years, Dr. A volunteered over 2,000 hours at Mott Children’s Hospital where he realized his passion for treating pediatric patients. He continued his education at the University of Michigan to earn his DDS and went onto specialize in pediatric dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. During his time in Boston, Dr. A completed advanced research in pacifier treatment for neonates and term infants. In addition, Dr. A was trained in nitrous oxide, conscious sedation and general anesthesia.
After completing his education, Dr. A decided to move closer to his family and friends in the Tampa area. During his spare time, Dr. A enjoys golfing, tennis, and cheering on the Steelers, Michigan Wolverines, and Tampa Bay Rays. Professional memberships include the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
